About First Contact

First Contact is an Indigenous Service that has been established since March 1992 and is an incorporated association.
First Contact provides 24 hr Resource & Referral, Development and Training Facility. Gives support and guidance to organisations and projects within South East Queensland.
The Service conducts and co-ordinate preventative, pro-active projects, innovative activities and events.
First Contact also monitors, reviews and develops proposals and recommendations to Government and other bodies or authorities.

Main effective information dissemination via information technology The service also implements strategies to break the social cycles in the youth sector by addressing needs through individual and group development strategies.
